Why did you charge my account twice for same payment

My monthly lease charge of 238.00 was charged twice and cannot get anyone from progressive leasing to answer a phone. Also charged my wife double charge this month costing us an extra 520.00

This is currently happening to my finance as well!!! We just noticed the monthly payment was taken out of his account not once but twice over the last 2 months. Last month we didn't notice it but this month we're a bit behind so when I checked the acct. Its been taking payments around the 10th and the 22nd of each month!!! My fiance has no idea why, he was under the assumption he woukd be making one time monthly payments!!!!

This just happened to me as well double payment and total payout has gone up 40 dollars I was on hold for over an hour then hung up on and now have no answers I'm pissed

I think they have a system bug going on because by the sounds of it everyone who was to have a payment made today was charged twice

Exact same thing happened to me also charged me twice been trying to call them all morning unable to talk to anyone call is either busy or just keeps ringing.

This is the email I received after I had to email them about the situation. Dear Tamica, Due to a payment processing error, we inadvertently attempted to collect an extra payment from your bank account on Oct 1, 2021. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We have issued a credit for the duplicate payment, and you should see this credit reflected in your bank account soon. No action is required on your part. If we find this extra payment did not clear your account, we will reverse the credit on or before Oct 11, 2021. We understand errors like this are frustrating and we are sorry it occurred. Our relationship with you is very important to us. We appreciate your understanding. Sincerely, Trevor Thatcher Chief Operations Officer

According to the Progressive Leasing help section, if you're approved for another lease-to-own agreement, you can shop at any store that is partnered with Progressive Leasing.

According to the 'How can I find my remaining lease amount on the website?' article posted at help.progleasing.com, to find your remaining lease amount, please log in to your Progressive Leasing account and follow these steps:
  • Click on the 'More' menu beneath your current buyout option;
  • Select 'Schedule';
  • You should see the upcoming payment schedule with the remaining lease amount.

To get more information about your Progressive Leasing lease amount, please contact the company customer care team by phone at (877) 898-1970 (toll-free number) or by email at customersupport@progleasing.com. Support is provided

According to the Progressive Leasing FAQ page, the approval of leasing lasts 90 days. At some retailers, if you do not sign your lease that day, the order is canceled. However, you can still create a new order if it is within the 90 days of your original approval.

I have paid my phone off and I don’t require to pay anything else. I’m trying to get another phone but the amount available is 350$. Will my money go credit go back up or no?

I have a lease with Aarons, but I see that Conns has waaaay better deals ....since they both use progressive leasing would I be able to switch merchants without applying...

I did call that number and was told since I live in Vermont,Progressive Leasing is not available in Vt...But I could get it in New Hampshire I asked the person that I spoke with that if I applied for Progressive Leasing and put in a New Hampshire address I may be approved.I would not believe that would be legal do you? When I applied on line,putting in all the information that was requested of me and at the end of it,hit submit,got message saying something to the effect,that was a error(tho that was not the terminology used) and to try again,which I did twice,When that did not work I called the number that was given to me in the message.Which I did and thats when I was told that Progressive was not available in Vermont.
