Progressive Leasing Scams
I bought matters I did not have the money to pay the $406.00. The salesman explained that with Progressive Leasing that if I could not payoff in the 90 days there would be 20% added to my bill of the balance.
I thought ok I really just don't have the money right now. After making bi-weekly payment plus my first payment of $59.00 I have now paid Progressive Leasing in the amount of $695.54. Not really paying attention to my bank account. I just called them and to payoff my bill is in the amount of an additional $203.62 with a total of $899.16 over double of what the Matters from Matters World.
I told the person on the other end do not debit my account again. DO NOT USE THESE RIP OFF'S
Reason of review: they are rip offs.
Monetary Loss: $493.

I am going through the same thing. Brought something for $150.00 and was told that it would be split into 12 monthly payments and now I find out they are charging me $400 more. I refuse to pay it and will be reporting this to the credit bureau and BBB.

Did the same thing to me. Told me if I didn't pay my bed in 90 days ($687) I would be charges 25% of the remaining balance.
Never seen a contract, just signed the screen, trusting that what the man told me was the truth. After the 90 days I had $246 left plus the "25%" interest ($61 extra dollars), but instead of it being $246 (+25%) it was now $596 to early payoff.
$1,388 in total...no one ever told me about the 65% interest of the original price or the number $1,388...they added another $701 on a almost $700 Bed. ????
